Chikki

Ever wondered how to make chkki? Look no further. This chikki recipe is so easy to make and it is so  much tastier than the ready-made one. You'll never want to buy chikki ever again.
 
How to make groundnut chikki
Ingredients:
½ kg roasted ground nuts
200gms jaggery
4 tbspns sugar
Method:
  • Pound the jaggery and put it in a pan on the fire on low heat.
  • When it has melted, add the sugar and keep stirring.
  • It should reach a light brown thread-like consistency; should harden when a little is dropped in water.
  • Add the nuts.
  • Mix till well coated.
  • Roll out on board.
  • Cut into squares while still hot.
