How to make groundnut chikki |
½ kg roasted ground nuts
200gms jaggery
4 tbspns sugar
Method:- Pound the jaggery and put it in a pan on the fire on low heat.
- When it has melted, add the sugar and keep stirring.
- It should reach a light brown thread-like consistency; should harden when a little is dropped in water.
- Add the nuts.
- Mix till well coated.
- Roll out on board.
- Cut into squares while still hot.
